Default Help with mini-me swap

I have a D15B7 95 hatch, and have been given a 97 D16Y8 engine with bad bottom end.

I am thinking about putting the head on my 1.5 engine.

Every thread I read leaves some info out or gives different parts.

Can I do the swap and still have close to stock compression so as to buy regular gas.

Also, which cam gear and belt really works right.

I'm looking for a little more power with the same reliabilty and be able to run regular gas.

Any help would be great.

You will be able to run regular gas with the swap.

I've read that the Z6 head gasket is thicker than the Y8. I guess that's the one to use.
Any opinions on timing belt and cam gear?
Anyone?
