Default Help with mini me swap.

I have a 97 d16y7 block with a 95 d16z6 head. Can I re use everything from my y7 head on the z6 head like dizzy, timing belt, manifold, yada yada yada. What head gasket should I run and what ecu?

Unfortunately there's no OBD2 distributor that bolts up to the d16z6 head. You're going to have to drill out the holes on your Y7 dizzy to make it fit. Other than that, follow the instructions on this thread:

z6 head gasket

id use the z6 timing belt also

You will need the Z6 distributor housing, but swap the guts with the plug from the Y7 into it so your harness will plug into it.

You will also need Z6 head bolts, the Y-series are different lengths than the Z.
