So yeah my A/C hasnt worked in weeks and its staring to get like 100+ here in texas... Today i was performing maintenence on my car like spark plugs, wires, oil, etc and i decided id take a look to try and find out whats wrong with the A/C. all the belts look ok, so its not that... I have a leak in my coolant reservoir cap that leaks all the water from my radiator, although that had been going on for awhile before my A/C went out. I keep it full of water.

The one thing that caught my attention, theres a metal piece that looks like a hose should attach down at the bottom of my radiator, down by the tranny, what is this for? I never noticed it before so it probably had a hose attached to it before. Im thinking thats my problem, could anyone verify? again, its in the middle of my radiator on the bottom, its a metal tube that looks like it should have a hose on it.

If you have A/C, you should have an A/C condensor next to the radiator.
