Help me with my Air-Con!!
Hey guys, so my AC is not working...common consensus is that my turbo and mani are getting the condenser too hot. Now i have to slim fans on. one pusher one puller..but its not cutting it. It looks like i am going to have to relocate the condenser..any ideas??

if that is the case (your turbo getting the condencer hot and prevent it to cool)i guess you could move it in front of the core support or in front of the rad. but you would have to extend and move you a/c lines and that would be a PITA.

Try wrapping the hot side of your turbo and your turbo manifold. That'll help keep overall under-hood temps down and will make a couple more horses.
As far as the condenser getting too hot.....I don't know about that. When you're driving there's quite a bit of air coming in through the condenser. That air will keep any REAL significant heat off the condenser. Of course having an intercooler sitting in front of the condenser doesn't help much either.
Sorry, no REAL help, just something to think about. Hook some gauges up to your AC to see where the pressures are at. Make sure you have a proper charge in there.

The hotter turbo temps may be downsizing the efficiency of the condenser, but I really doubt it would actually stop your a/c system from working at all, is the clutch pullinng in ? if it is, does it stay in and run all the time, is there any cooler air at all in your system, there is a small window on top of the dryer tank, the black tube thing, look see if you can see freon flowing through it, clean the window and use a flashlight. There should be a constant flow, looking a little greyish with a few bubbles. if not, then either the compressor is not running or it may be over/under charged or the expansion valve may be blocked. or your compressor may not be working well. If your not experienced enough to work on it yourself, try a local friendly shop, but be prepared to may out the @$$ for repairs.
