Help me, I swapped my d16 block and head for a d16z6.
I swapped out the stock engine for my '91 civic si, and replaced it with a d16z6 block and head. To make things easier I bolted my stock intake manifold onto the new engine as well as my stock trany. My stock engine wiring harness was used to connect everything together except we had to make an adapter for the connections to the new distributer. But we've hit a snag. The engine will turn over and there is spark, but the fuel pump is not getting power and the light on the ecu is not flashing any codes, but is just staying on steady. I dont think that we have fried the ecu because there was never a chance for that to happen before we attempted to start the car. Could it be a broken or grounded wire somewhere in the (very beat up) wiring harness? or is it something more serious... please help me, I need to feel the power of vtec soon.
