Default help me get my b16 in!!

ok, i just FINALLY got my d16 out(pics later if interested). it was a pain tho! it was mostly getting hung up on things in the engine bay. now heres my question, how do i get the b16 in smoothly w/o much trouble? do we have to remove things on the engine to get it to go in smooth? or just wiggle and manouver it alot? how long does it usually take? i did a search and couldnt find how to just specifically put the motor in the car. please help! thanks in advance!

From what i understand, practice makes perfect. If you have the tranny still connected put the tranny in first and try to put it in.

Or you could bring it in from the bottom. And raise it with the hoist from the bottom up and just guide it in. Good luck.

I've found its easiest to lower the tranny end in first. And just sorta wiggle it down in there. Its not as hard as it seems

I would suggest replacing timing belt/water pump, perform tuneup before dropping in your motor.
