help me decide
I am planning to get a HID kit for the civic which one would you choose as brightness?
5300k or 6000k? 8000k is overkill for civic IMO but 8000k is still a choice.

why wouldnt you get the brightest? you're not going to be the one having to look in the rear view to see those bright *** lights. hey, no one will be in the left lane if you give em the high beams

8000K is not brighter than 5300K or 6500K. The range in the spectrum is what color they are. 4000-6000K is where you want to be if you want a nice bright white light w/o the blue-ish tint that you start to get once you go over 6500, such as the 8000K systems.
