Default Help me cofirm some swap info

car: 2000 coupe ex
motor: 1998 gsr

question 1: is the si rear mount the only mount i need from the si or do i need the si driver mount as well?

question 2: is the rest of the mounts going to be from my ex or am i going to have to use the gsr mounts?

question 3: is the mount connecting to the si rear mount from the ex, si, or gsr?

question 4: will the dizzy plugs line up (from 98 to my 00 plug) or will i have to repin them?

question 5: should i use the 2000 ex harness or the 98 gsr harness

question 6: will the gsr shift linkage work or should i get the si shift linkage

question 7: if i was to use the ex harness, what wires am i going to have to rewire or repin such as secondary butterflies, etc.

question 8: (im converting from obd2b to obd2a --no money for chip p28-- what wires would i need to repin to make the obd2a p72 work?

question 9: is there anything i left out that should be address.

thanks for your input.

you need 3 mounts, very simple. use EX bolts where you can, and take the studs from your stock block mount, and pu them into the new 99-00 Si

mounts:
-The rear (triangle shaped bracket) from 99-00 Si
-The passenger mount bracket from 99-00 Si (connects directly to trans (2 nuts 1 bolt))
-timing belt side block mount 99-00 Si (this is the mount directly bolted to the block, and holds the 2 studs that the stock civic mount bracket bolts too.

linkage: use the GSR, works perfect.

wiring: if you can use your civ harness, but you'll need to take a few plugs from the integra harness, and extend a few. You'll also need to add one wire for the the IAB's.

find a 99-00 GSR ECU if you can, or use your 96-98 ECU and buy an adapter

throttle cable: 94+ GSR or make a bracket (the new cable is less than $20 and take less than 5 min. to install)

im not 100% on the dizzy but i pretty sure 96-00 dizzy plugs are identical

power steering: your pump wont work, and the civ upper line will not mount to the teg pump. need to replace upper PS line while the motor is out if you want PS.

that's all ive got off the top of my head
