Default help me choose my build

So I currently have a d15b turbo on stock motor y8 IM 60mm TB full 2.5" exaust. I wanna build a budget D-series with LS rods vitara pistons Tuned on Hondata new waterpump timing belt gaskets bearings etc.
The choice is what block and head combo, this is what I have d16z6 block and head, d16y7 block and head(I would port and shim hte oil pump If I used this block), d16y8 head. Alos for the tranny I have a 99dx and a jdm d15b.
I wanna run 15-20 psi on a smaller turbo example dsm 14b, dsm 16g, t25, t28.
SO what motor should I use?

dont go vtec if you want to do a turbo Dseries. all my friends here have nonvtec built turbo Dseries and they say you build boost better and its more consistent. they could be wrong. but its one more thing to fiddle with.
its not like the vtec in a gsr motor anyway. get a y7 motor and head. do the ls rods and vitara pistons. i heard those might need you to notch out the block at the bottom so the pistons dont hit the block at bottom stroke. do a stock y7 motor and do 20lbs..my friend has been doing that for a year now doing 13s. hellsa crazy. but build it and have fun

ill look into that more but i was planning on using the y8 or z6, but ill give it the benefit of the doubt. Also I do have a Y7 the motors listed above are ones I own, and I know how to knotc hthe block it is the the thicker rods dont hit the block not the pistons.
