Default Help me....

I just got done using this sea foam stuff...and as i was puring it through the brake booster line my check engine came on....and now it wont go away....i figure the stuff just got my o2 sensor dirty and thats y my check engine light is on..but it could be something else...my car is a 96 dx hatch with 120 on the y7 motor...im letting the engine cool right now and in a little bit im gonna go clean the sensor if that doesnt help i will post it up..any help would be nice...and yes i read about sea foam on this forum for about a week and follow everything right....the car runs great its just that the check engine light is on....

Let the car run for a bit and it should go away. Did you let it sit and idle afterwards?

yeah i let it sit for awhile and then took it for a spin for about 10 minutes...theres no more white smoke coming out of it anymore....i would check the CEL but i dont have anything to check it with....

Do you have an autozone in your town? They check CEL's and will tell you what code it's throwing.

alright cool...i take it to them tomorrow and tell u guys what the CEL is..thanks for the help so far..im just hoping that the check engine light goes out by itselfs...
