Default HELP: making a trunk floor board

anyone done this?? mines is bent and cracked and somethin more than 5 pounds will fall right through it...thought of trying to make my own...anyone know of a good, cheap, light, strong, easy to cut, materal to use for my trunk board...its on a 97 ex coupe if you need to know..thanks

go to home deport, theres this wood/cardboard material. its like 5 bucks for a big *** peice and you can ask the dude at the machine to cut it. then you take it home and trim it to the size of the stock board.

it has holes in it. like holes every inch. its about a quarter inch thick, solid, cheap

edit: you can also cut it into 2 peices, zip tie it, so you if you have no spare tire you can open it up and put stuff underneath, even if you have a sub on top, get what I'm saying?

Brilliant idea. I made my own out of 3/4" MDF. =P

I not only need the board but also the cloth cover. Did you just make your board? what did you use?

Try using thin plywood becuase it sounds like u have a leak in your trunk and if u use that cardboard again its just going to go to ****.

sO DID i. i COVERED MINE IN THAT CHEAP CARPET YOU CAN BUY FROM wAL-mART FOR LIKE $8 A ROLL(i HaTe CApS) It looks reealy good though.
