try cleaning your FITV. make sure you install the TPS correctly. the notch teeth thing should fall inplace with the notch teeth thing on the throttle body. adjust your throttle line and make sure its not snag or pulling the throttle. check spark plugs, wires, and timing. check your fuel filter, that might cause it but i doubt it, but wouldnt hurt to check. i had high idle problem before too, it was a bitch, took me forever to figure out what was wrong, it end up being my tps, it was installed incorrectly. good luck.

check plugs mine was doing the same thing very high idle not goin down past 2500 and ended up as timing water pump when out and 2 and 3 cylinders where also misfiring but it sounds like when you plug the wholes up on your TB are you sure nothing fell out or something like that or your TB might be fucked

Re: (lv6l)
dont know if gonna be much help but,
If it really idles between 3200-4900 rpm, i think you might been having a vaccum leak somewhere or a STUCK gas paddle.
Does it constantly idle at a certain RPM? or does it jump up and down between
3200-4900 rpm? If it jumps then usually it's a Sensor, but vaccum leak can also cause it.
Check for :
1. Vaccum Leak (Throttle Body, Hoses, EACV, TPS gasket if TPS removed before,
Injector gaskets, intake manifold gasket, MAP sensor O-ring gasket, etc...)
2. Check Sensor (TPS)
3. Or take it to a Shop
Hope it can be a help, good luck
