Help: Idle Bogging Problem w/B20Z in EJ8
Background info: USDM B20Z2 block swapped in a 99 Civic Coupe running 7/10psi with a greddy kit and hondata.
Problem: Sometimes when I start the car, it will immediately start bogging (~200RPM) unless I give it some gas, and a lot of times it will just die completely. In order to start it again, I have to give it a lot of gas, and keep holding down the pedal for ~30secs after it starts, otherwise it will die again. (This problem occured even before turbo). Just a few days ago (after turboing), it died on the highway in the middle of driving when I released the clutch to get ready to downshift , pretty scary seeing how I was on a downsloping ramp and the brakes don't work well the the car is off. Any ideas as the the problem? The shop that did the swap and that installed the turbo can't seem to find out the problem either..

Re: Help: Idle Bogging Problem w/B20Z in EJ8 (EE_Chris)
before turbo i was just using a 92-95 LS ECU w/skunk2 OBDII->OBDI socket converter.
Do you think maybe it's the Idle Air Control Valve (or Valve Control..not sure of the order but you get my drift)?

Nah, it doesn't sound like a IACV problem to me - more like a fueling/timing issue.
What is the condition of your injectors/cap/rotor/plugs/wires and what are you using for them - OEM or aftermarket?
