HELP,I NEED MY RADIO CODE,HELP!!
I left my lights on and had to jump-start my car today, and when I got in my car and turned on my radio (stock, with cd-changer) it had "code" on the face and it wont let me play my radio.I went to Capitol Honda, here in Vancouver and they want $20 to look up my code, does anyone know the code I need,or know where I can get it for cheaper if not free?My car is a 94' Del Sol V-tec,if that matters. Thanks again, next time I'll remember to turn my lights off, seriously Ive only done it a few times.....

only place to get it, is a dealership, they have to take the stereo out and get the serial number off of it, then look it up on the computer. It should have came in ur owners manual, but sometimes it doesn't.

either get a hold of the dealership, or sometimes stereo shops can call over and the dealerships will give em to them, if you have any buddies that work at shops.

same thing happened to me, all i did was pull the stereo out, looked in the back for the serial number and called my local honda dealer. but i think you have to call the dealership where you bought thd car, but im not sure. they asked for the number i told them, they ran it through the computer, and told me the code.

Sometimes sly owner's will put their code in the owner's manual on one of the last few pages, in the notes section? Did you look there?
Good luck getting it undercontrol.... honda's with no light indicators =

...and if you ever get your code, dont ever, ever lose the slip of paper you wrote it on.
...like I did with my first Honda.

LOL
look at all the help for the lady...
If it were a dude it would've been "SEARCH" "Call your dealer with vin" and that'd be the end of it
(here's some help "how 'bout some dick"
-Chris Rock)

Yup. Everyone here did the same thing to me a couple of months back when I was trying to find a code for my friend's Integ. Hell, they didn't even tell me to search (and I did, anyway)...everyone basically told me to go to hell.
Flamed I was...for some reason.
