HELP!!! i dont know what model civic
i bought a 92 honda civic hb on fri and i need to get a head gastket kit but.....i need to knwo weather its an ex cx......or wht not does anyone know how i can tell...seeing there r no emblems on it at all other the that big 
on the hood 
....the only things i know about it is that its a 1.5 and i thought that would be easy enough but noooo

Read the VIN #:
Check the 8th number from the left.
Example: 2HGEH23<FONT COLOR="red">5</FONT>6PH500001
4: CX
5: DX
6: VX

Recheck your number, it's the 8th digit from the left.
I looked in my Helms manual, there is no 2.
What car do you have (Hatch / Coupe / Sedan) I can check the numbers for you. (92-95)

I only have a 1993 Helms, so some numbers could have been added in the later years for cars w/ different options.
