HELP i am stump SHIFT lINAKGE problem

Default HELP i am stump SHIFT lINAKGE problem

i need help on figuring what is wrong with my shiftlinkage or shift rod.. okie here is the problem.. when i finish swaping my motor (d16z6)into my vechile (93 civic si) the shift lever sit hella far back to my armRest.. i could find all gears when engine is off but when its on i can't find 2nd gear.. i got the tranny rebuilt and install LSD... i am stump.. i have change out the tranny with another one same thing happen... i change the pressure plate same thing happen.. i change out the shiftlinkage BOTH and same thing... it worked fine before.. but don;t know what happen... HELP !!!

dont tell me you put the shifter on the linkage backwards....

its not... the shift rod looks like it got push hella far back... HELP..

i currently have aftermarket mount on it but before i pull the motor out i always ran these same mount..HELP!!

well lets see here... your using the same mounts so therefore the distance between the place the shifter goes thru the floor and trans couldnt have changed (wouldnt of changed either way stock or aftermarket mounts). If your motor is sitting in your car correctly and you have the shift linkage bolted to the body of the car then sir i do believe u just need to take your shifter out and flip it around. After you do that lmk how it worked.
