Hey I asked and i know its been asked a million times but I got me a set and they dont fit! Well they do just dont clear my calipers. I installed them and then tried backing up, and nope no go they got stuck with the rim. Now they are 14" just like my stock steelies and those fit, and they are HX's cuz the tires are for 14' rims. Help plz. Oh and its for a 94 Si HB

The spokes aren't meant to clear the bigger Si brakes.

You can add spacers to make them fit.

13" wheels wont clear GSR\LS brakes. Are you running stock brakes? What trim level?

hmm... weird though my friend had a 95EX same breaks as Si and they fit on his, no spacers. And if I needed spacers where and how do I ask for them?

HX's are 14", not 13" those would be VX's

Oh right... im thinking VX wheels... my bad. 14" wheels should clear. If they dont, throw a 3mm spacer in there and be done with it.

you have 3 options.....1) insert a spacer 2) grind down the caliper housing to clear 3) sell the HX's and get some other nice light wheels

Ok lets see how much do spacers run and where can I get them? And which kind? size?

If I grind down my caliper, what should i use?

Oh and yeah I will eventually sell them, HX in flat black! New fatty tires Open to offers.

you need a 5mm 4x100 offset spacer for each side (I would do the back too just cause I'm **** about that, but you probably won't see any difference... it's just 5mm)

I have a 94 Si and I have HX wheels. You probably have ABS which means the same brakes as a LS or Integra Geya. grind the caliper down a tad, don't use spacers Boyee.

spacers will work but i would rather see ya take a little off the caliper

just stick a porting bit or a cutting wheel on a die grinder and do a LITTLE at a time until it fits good.

I 1st started off grinding down the calipers but it still didn't clear (I think I was grind the wrong part of the caliper). So i got 16 washers and used them as wheel spacers, but i recommend buying wheel spacers juss to be safe. But so far these washers are doing the job.

I tried grinding it but no luck, I dont want to keep grinding cuz it seems like its getting to be to much. So if I try washers will that work well? Also i'm kinda giving up on this all together, does any one want these HX rims? FO stock Steelies plus $$$ or trade for other rims

i've heard of people successfully grinding down the calipers to make em fit without compromising the quality or affecting braking in any way. your best bet would be to do a search on who's done it and get their personal experience with it.

i'd buy em for my friend if you weren't so far away. i hate shipping costs for such heavy stuff. good luck

I have done it, On about 4 differnt cars!!

Heres the best bet

1. put some paint on the calipers

2. install wheel and spin it around with lug nuts tqed to ~80lbs

3. remove wheel after you spun it around about 5 times

4. Grind down parts that have paint removed ( being those parts are the high points )

5. Repeat process till no more grinding

6. Once load is put on car, You may notice more grinding if so just repete steps!!

Total, you may remove ~1/8" material Which is not enough to hurt the structural strength of the Caliper!!

NO NEED FOR SPACERS UNLESS YOUR A SISSY!!!

I will try that first thing in the morning. Also the brakes have the caliper then that other bracket that holds the Pads, what if thats griding, can I grind that down too?

just put them on and drive till they stop grinding, LOL na im j/k it doesnt take much to grind i did in on my EX, another thing you could do is put dx/cx brakes on, LOL
