help with gsr swap into eg coupe
ok so like i posted earlier my civics stock motor is stating to smoke so im thinking about just going b series.. my friend is selling a complete longblock out of his 95 gsr teg and he said he would let me get it for 600 bucks.. i already have a extra b series tranny.. now i just need to know everything else i would need.
waht shift linkages am i supposed to use?
which mounts?
which ecu?
and is there any other stuff that im going to need??

you can use all your mounts besides the rear t bracket and the driver mount from what i understand, u need the gsr ecu and harness and just about everything from an integra.

hey what about like the knock sensors do you have to run a wire for that>
because everywhere i look theyre saying something about running a wire on the knock sensor i have a 95 dx also

Even if you use everything from the integra you will still need to run the wiring for VTEC solenoid, VTEC pressure switch, knock sensor and the IAB's on the intake manifold. Also you'll need to extend the wiring for your O2 sensor to reach the integra's placement. If you use a P28 you won't need to wire the knock sensor and you can eliminate the IAB's by using a Skunk 2 type intake manifold. If you want to keep all these you can run an OBD1 P72 for the B18C1. i have all the parts needed for your swap.
just pulled my ls vtec off of my eg9.
