Help! grinding 5th gear....

Help! grinding 5th gear....
i have a 95 jdm gsr tranny. im getting a very slight grind going into 5th gear at high rpms. what do you guys think the problem is?....bad sychros? i hate having to double-clutch everytime i shift into 5th. thanks.

Do you have trouble getting into reverse? When i was grinding 5th i had problems with reverse also..because it is on the same syncrho....mine cost $190 from acura, and my cousin installed it for me

How fast are you going in order to be high in the revs in fourth? 110 mph lol. Anyway if you are getting a slight gring get GM synchro Mesh friction modified part number 12377916. Workes great. If that doesnt help youll need new synchros
