litterbox

so i took the roof panels and the headliner off tonight. i have some dents in the roof and i wanna fix them. the dent is really narrow, about 5 inches long and only 2 inches wide and it's really deep,i'd say about an inch or so. one side of the dent is right next to where the roof connects to the side part of the frame(the part right above where the front door closes). the other side of the dent spreads far across the roof until the roof reaches it's normal slope. what's the best tool to use to bang that deep part back in then smooth over the rest?
i can't figure out how to post pics, someone explain it and i'll post pics of the dent.


after i get done fixing the roof i'm gonna paint the headliner and roof panels black with vinyl paint. i'll put up pics with the interior back in when i know how.
