last nite, i tried installing a rsr ex-mag exhaust system on my honda civic hx. i found out that the that tip of the header has 2 bolts and the exhaust piping has 3 but solved that problem. but later i found out that the exhaust is 20 inches away front the header piping.

am i missing something??? the rsr came with 3 section which assume is right.
someone help me out

yeah i think your forgetting about the cat, the header bolts to the cat and the exhaust bolts to the cat.

the exhaust piping has 3 bolts so it can bolt on to your cat.

The HX has the cat in the header. To my knowledge, there is no exhaust that is made for it. You have 1 of 2 options:

1-Go to exhaust shop to make it fit.
2-Buy a header and cat for the EX model since the cat will go under the car.

I have an HX, and I bought a header and cat for the EX and it fits fine

Yep, you need a Header for an Ex, and a cat for an ex. You will also have to extend your O2 sensor wires. You can buy harnesses from DC sports.
