!!HELP!! Engine Swap Problems
I jus finished swapping a 94 ex engine in my 93 vx hatch. When I start it up it idles ok then when i want to go in to 1st gear it goes but when I want to drive it, it jumps right out of 1st gear. Like my shift linkage comes right out of 1st gear an goes into netural it comes completly out an i will have to put it back in 1st an it will do the same thing again. This **** is pissing me off

Re: !!HELP!! Engine Swap Problems (JDMRob)
Synchros? I had the same problem with my first LS tranny and 3rd gear. It went in but as soon as I let go of the shifter it popped right back out.

do you feel it going into gear completey??? did you get the "bitch pin" in, or at least replace it with a new one?? It sounds like it isn't full in gear when you try and start out...try 2nd gear and see if that works...if it does, then it could be a first gear problem...

Re: !!HELP!! Engine Swap Problems (Emerika)
yea when its not on it goes through all the gears fine. When i start it up i go in 1st completly then i start to take off an it jumps right out. It jumps out of 2nd also. I put the bitch pin in as far as i could. (Now i see why they call it the BITCH pin)
