Default Help! engine running cold and heater is blowing cold air.

The ECU is also throwing me a p0137, low volt o2 sensor after the cat) I replaced the sensor and the cel keeps coming back. Could these things be connected somehow?

Not heating up first thing to check is your thermostat. I am not entirely sure about the o2 sensor. Perhaps because your engine is not warming your car is running rich and the computer is not getting the reading it expects from the o2 after the cat.

I replaced the thermostat but the temperature gauge in my cluster doesn't move. It is in between cold and normal. My heater keeps blowing cold air. I resetted the ECU. Could it be the temp. sending unit?

check your valve on the heater hose... the cord might have popped off. or a cord might have come loose under your dashboard.

downstream o2 doesn't have anything to do of warm up of the engine, it would be helpful if u had a raytek gun.

I had the heating issue lately and found that ice had built up in the radiator. Other than that, I'd do a compression test.

The car was reading cold because the asswipes where I bought the car had just stuck on a broken needle on the temp gauge. I replaced the thermostat and the gauge cluster and the gauge is now reading normal. My heater is also working now. I am still getting the annoying cel light though. I have tried resetting the ECU five times already. The secondary sensor is reading too much oxygen in the exhaust so I am suspecting an exhaust manifold leak.
