HELP ENGINE LIGHT JUST CAME ON POSSIBILITIES...?

Well lately my car has been turning over a few times before it starts like the battery is dieing.. i just purchased this car its a civic si 00. it has about 47k on it and i think it could be the battery. ijust put a big system in it 5000 miles ago. the system is an xtant x1001 and a alpine deck. so the amp is pretty big 1000@2 ohm. does the check engine light come on when your batteries about to go?
note:
modes done
greddy exhaust
weapon r intake
chipped ecu
sound system
kyb agx struts

i just had the struts switched out two days ago by abacus racing

I think the battery/charging light would come on if the battery were dying. Just go to Autozone and have them test it, its free. Have them test your alt with your system on/off and see if its putting out the req'd amps. Have them check your CEL's too.. they also do that for free, well some of them do.

its possible you wont know shit til you check to see what code shows when you check the light.

Find the blue connector down by the ECU. Splice the brown and black wires together or use a paper clip and read what code it's flashing.

No, it's the combo of Weapon R and GReddy. Didn't you read in the papers about how the two have irreconcilable differences and won't be seeing each other anymore? They refuse to work together and now your battery is on strike, too. Bummer

Re: HELP ENGINE LIGHT JUST CAME ON POSSIBILITIES...? THIS IS THE CODE THAT POPPED UP

P0133 Rear Air/Fuel Ratio (A/F) Sensor (Bank 1, Sensor 1) Circuit Slow Response

Yeah normally I'd disconnect the oxygen sensor during a strut install. Its like number 1 in the helm's manual I think. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif

In retrospect, at least it didnt come back on yet.

its because he hasnt gone through an entire drive cycle yet.

if it IS a real problem with one of the O2's it will come back on. the ECU does not look at every sensor, all the time. it only looks at them when its told to.
