Help With EK GSR Swap
Ok I am just about done with the swap and this may be a stupid question with an easy fix but for some f'd up reason I can't get the rear L bracket and the top tranny mount to line up at the same time. I have all the necessary mounts and brackets but no matter which way I try it I can't get it. This isn't my first swap but the first one on my EK. Someone please help me! I need my car and this is the ONLY THING that has given me trouble.

Re: Help With EK GSR Swap
I've found the easiest way to line them up is to use a chain hoist on top of the engine and a car jack + block of wood under the oil pan. Catch the engine on the car jack, and then it's *somewhat* easy to position it right where you want it using the jack.
Line up the rear mount first.
Line up the rear mount first.

Re: Help With EK GSR Swap
Yeah got the side engine bracket from honda and the rear L bracket is from a gsr. I tried to get the rear done first but no matter what I do the top tranny mount is always off by about an inch. Its too far forward. Which makes me wonder if there is a different L bracket that would fit a B series engine but is a different size?

Re: Help With EK GSR Swap
I thought the GSR was the same as the SI rear bracket. Wow. Well that would probably be the reason. I knew it was gonna be something stupid. THANK YOU!

Yeah I looked around and found the difference. I don't know why but for some reason I thought the gsr would work. All makes sense now. Dealer wants like 60 bucks for one.
