Hi im new and I only registered in order to get some help. I already searched and searched and couldn't find an answer. My questions is that i would like to put a double din in my '93 civic coupe but don't want to buy the jdm or usdm console they run about 200-400 on ebay. So I would like to know if anyone put an EK lower console and relocated the Climate control their and made the 2 din fit up top? Is it possible? Is there a how to video or forum? Please help me!!! If there's someone selling a cheap audio console gray I'll but it most ill spend is $120.00 USD

Thats a tough one... Ive seen the ek lower consol in eg's before, but they all left the climate control up top still and put a double din radio or guages on the lower half

I think the EK console is going to look terrible in the EG.

Maybe just constantly keep looking. Honda-tech and other forums. Craigslist, etc etc.

Thanks for the fast replies. I saw what jbpnoman posted that looks awesome my only question now is will a 2 din fit on bottom or should I relocate the ac to the bottom and 2 din on top?

What is even your purpose of needing to relocate the stereo or climate control down there? Just to be different? You already have slots for those from the factory....

I've seen it done ... in cars at the junkyard with other horrible mods done to them. What a shame. Wait it out, OP. Especially those Euro EG Civic ones can be had pretty cheap nowadays. Used to be ultra-rare ($275+) but nowadays everyone and their dog has one for sale = price has come down a LOT.

See that's the thing the only reason I want to convert is to have an alternative to getting a double din in my EG only because I can't find the optional audio console. If anyone has one or a link to one that's fairly cheap let me know please.

no the purpose was to have the double din up top where the two dins are(climate and Stereo)
