Although i would appreciate if someone can direct me to a write up possibly with pictures for intstalling the CAI to a 1998 Civic DX. I do not mean to be harsh, but if AFTER you pop your hood, you still need a write up to install a cold air intake, please close the hood, and take your car to a shop from now on.

no u are right i shoud just close the hood and take it to a shop, but you see this is a learning experience for me, so i wuld like to have a back up (write up) by my side incase of anything i cant figure out. but in the end im pretty sure i'll be able to do this job.

I agree, but there is no need to be a dick about it.

Anyway,

It is quite simple. Once you look at the CAI and how it connects to the TB and where it is routed to, you will be fine. The hardest part will probably be removing the old intake.

My first modificantion to my car was a turbo kit so installing a CAI shouldnt be a problem

I would like to sincerely apologize for my post...I was having a crappy day, and, for the record, I generally dislike people who post smart-ace, quick comments like that just to rag on people.

Gouki133, I hope you and the rest of the H-T community will accept my apology and let us all know how the install goes!

Pics are nice
