Default HELP... DRIVING AND THEN BOOM OVERHEATING LIKE A *****
i have been driving my car all day... then when i go to leave my g/f's house itit fine... then all of a sudden i look @ the temp gauge and its hot as a bitch... so i puul over and puke tank's hose is off the rad and my fan wans't on or n e thing.... so i let it cool and get home and check my fan why didn't it kick on i tested it with the batt and it works but why did my car over heat for no reason.... um..... i know my themostat is stuck open is the n e way that could of reveresed and stuck closed... someone HELP ME PLZ..

yes it could be the t-stat. they fail all the time. replace with a honda one.

could be a bad water pump. see if it leaks on the drivers side.

If those two doesn't work, then its a head gasket issue...but try the other options first..

Thanks everyone... it was just a themostat... Thank god... but acutally if it was a head gasket it would be a perfect time to do ls/vetc
