Help diagnosing a weak spark.
92 civic B18c P28
I have read that I should see a bright white spark while cranking the engine but when I lay a plug into my hood latch and have someone crank the engine the spark seems quite dim and is a light blue color.
My MSD blaster ss coil ohm's out at 4 ohms on the primary and about 40,000 on the secondary. Close to what the spec is.
At the moment the car will not start. I am getting an injector pulse at each injector and spark on each of the plugs. I've checked timing and all is well with that. Could a spark as described above cause a no start condition?
I believe these issues may have been caused by some wiring issues from a recent wire tuck.
Thanks.
