HELP: D16Z6 with an S20 transmission = stock Si ???
hi guys
i recently bought a stock Si with a d16z6 and the tranny was grinding a bit but i didn't really care much since i got it for cheap. just today i looked more into detail and my tranny has yellow writing on it (probably from a junkyard?) and it says it's an S20...
i've done some searching on HT and google but all the results seem seem to be that the S20 is for both the DX and the Si models?
this can't be right... cause i know the z6 tranny is different... or is S20 just a general name for all these types of transmissions?
help please!
thanks in advance!

Re: (mister.wong)
S20= 92-95
S40= 96-00
near the tranny fill plug.........
A000 = small bearing case = CX/DX/HX/VX case, BAD!
B000 = large bearing case = EX/Si case, GOOD!
D16Z6 and D16y8 trans = K4F/P4A/B000, shortest gears
