HELP!!!! Code P0420 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold
Got this code 2 times already in my 99 Civic Si. Car does have a DC header and a Random Technology Hi Flow Cat. Anyone else get this code or know what needs to be done to correct it???? The 02 Sensor in the cat is fairly new. Thanks for the help in advance.

Yuh oh, how old is the catalytic converter?
I know in some cases, brands like Magnaflow fail in our cars simply because of where the o2 bung is located on the cat, which is why I picked up a CatCo when mine failed.
You don't happen to have access to a spare good condition cat, do ya? :\

well obviously your cat isnt working to the capacity its supposed to you can get a "bung" that can screw into where your o2 sensor goes then screw your sensor into that and you shouldnt have any problems....it essentially seals the cat shut where you would put the sensor then the sensor screws into that so your o2 sensor will pick up absolutely no exhaust fumes and no more code....

With a name like that?
I'd imagine a company like "catalytic technologies" would make the best ones.
Ok, I just woke up. Cut me some slack.
