check ur distributor.

did u do ur own swap or u bought the car with the motor , if u did, in that case the person might have taken out the bulb so it wont go on.

did it myself. its been suggested that it could be a problem with the icm in the dizzy, so I am planning on replacing that assembly. it just puzzles me, would that be enough to make the cel light not function?

Does the fuel pump prime when you put the key in the on position? Your main relay might have taken a ****.

if it turns over but there is no spark then it is the igniter module. That went out on my 94 civic, and I had no idea what it was, so I called honda and they told me that it went out on those years alot. They wanted like $220 bucks for it! So i searched on ebay and found a brand new dizzy from distributorking for like $200 with overnight shipping. It also has a 3 year warranty. Just a thought though hope it helps.

yeah the fuel pump primes, and would the dizzy alone be enough to make the cel not come on? ill try just plugging in an obd1 d series one and see if that makes the light turn on....we'll see....but bump for more ideas!
