Default HELP!!! Car Won't start!!!

I just installed a d16y8 manifold on my d16y7 and when my friend started the car the first time it fired up... Second time the car fired up and ran very very rough and suddenly it just died... now we can't even start the car anymore. Anybody have any ideas of what happened? Now the car makes really nasty noises while we are trying to turn it over...I just remembered that all the coolant leaked out and we forgot to fill it up again but that shouldn't affect the car starting right? The only problem is that it would overheat... We checked all the vacuum lines and fuel lines they all matchup... Please help me Honda Tech peeps!!!
