Help! Car wont idle, it dies
I have a 93 civic with an h22 stroked to a 2.4l. Car will start beautifully. but will not idle. any clues? I did delete the fast idle thermal valve on the bottom of the throttle body. it has a new iac, ect, o2 I'm running a chipped p28. I have replaced it with a stock p28 and it does the same thing. The motor is fuly rebuilt and everthing is new except for the map and tps. I have changed the map with a know good map and doesn't help.

Is the CEL ON?
Does the problem occur when the engine is both cold and hot?
Is the PCV valve/hose system clogged?
Is the ignition timing set to spec?

Re: Help! Car wont idle, it dies
come to find out the chip in the ecu is bad. a stock ecu it runs fine. all wires dizzy and everything but the injectors, map and tps are brand new on this motor.
It runs fine on a stock pcm, but the throws a code 43 fuel systems once it gets warm. the fuel pressure is perfect, stock regulator. o2 sensor is new. wiring is perfect. according to the oem trouble shooting chart the only thing that could possible be wrong it that the injectors are leaking. but it you clamp off the return line and pressurize the lin the pressure doesn't drop so no signs of a leaky injector. all injector wiring is perfect also. brand new pcv valve and hose.

^?
I probed the o2 to see what it is doing and the voltage is consistant at .03v-.07v. The voltage should bounce from .2-.8. I have replaced the o2 with one from another one of my cars and it didn't make a difference. I know that o2 is good because I drive the car everyday aand it doesn't have any problems.
I clamped off the return line to the tank. It should hold pressure, unless the injectors are leaking. it bleads off 20 psi of pressure within 1 hour. I think my injectors are bad. If they are bleading off that would cause extra fuel in the cylinder. before I shell out the money for new injectors. I want to make sure they are bad. Wondering if TPS would cause it but the car revs just fine no stuttering or anything.
