CIVIC dude

Just changed cap, rotor & spark plugs on my D15.

Went to start it no problem ran mint.

a couple hours later i go to move the car, i got a dry crank and then it started up. Drove it down the street, shut it off. Tryed starting it back up and now nothing.

Took off the cap and tried a screw driver against the block test and nothing.

Do i need a new Ignitor??

Any help seriously appreciated!

ignitor is probably dead.

it could be anything, check your entire ignition system: dizzy, loose battery cables, etc... also check the fuel system: fuel lines for small pin holes, air in the fuel system, cogged fuel filter, cogged injectors, etc...

also forgot to mention check all fuses.

the real kick in the nutz is that the car ran fine.

Changed the cap, rotor and plugs and now it doesnt run??

One of the distributor cap bolts was seized and broke, so we tried drilling it out.
My only idea is that the little metal shavings might have screwed up the ignitor!

Went to honda to get an ignitor, they had no stock and to top it off, they wanted $260cad for it!
