HELP ::: car kept dying last night !?!?!??
I was driving normally last night and all of a sudden my car just shut off. The headlights still work though. Then I try to crank it up again and after a few tries it started back up. Drove home for a about 2 miles and as I was exiting the freeway and while braking, the car dies again. I park on the side and try to crank it again and after a few tries it started. I have a 00 civic with a b18c. ALSO, the motor has BC spec IV cams that causes the idle to be lumpy, but sometimes at a stop the idle would drop to about 400-600 rpm and seems to wanna stall but doesn't (started before the car ever died out) and the regular idle is about 100-1200 rpm. Any suggestions?

replace positive (alternator-to-battery) wire and maybe even all your engine bay ground wires. Check thermostat ground too and make sure it's not loose and/or corroded

i doubt it. if it was the problem your car wouldnt be able to be restarted. the battery would be dead. it could be a lot of things. spark plugs, cap rotor, wires, fuel pump, sensor (any number). if your car is still running check the cap rotors wires and distributor(coil, igniter)
