Default Help! Car dying!!

Hey I have an automatic 4 door Honda Civic. 1992. It has 266,000 km's on it, with regular oil changes.

Recently (Couple of days), I noticed when I drive, the car would all of a sudden drop to 0 RPM (I installed a tach), while I'm still going! Accelerating at 0 does nothing..

At that point I'm forced to pull over, turn the car off, and then fire it up again.. But instead of standard firing up, I have to give it gas for it to struggle to start..

A symptom I noticed when the car is about to shut off, the idle hops DRAMATICALLY. 3 to 6 to 2 to 4 to 7 to 6, etc.

I don't know whats going on! I tried searching and could not find anything. For now the car is parked in my backyard until I know whats wrong with it..

I don't know much about it, but think it might be distributor? Since that's what sends my RPM signals, maybe it's faulty? Or my motor is dying..
