Icon2 HELP! "CAI" for a EK

alright so heres the scenario
i own a EK DX 96. and i bought a CAI for a 96-00 EX i did it purposely because i wanted to do a mini me swap. and i wanted to modify my manifold so it can fit in he mean while i get the stuff for the swap. and i dont know how to mod it so it can fit. and my major problem is that this AEM "CAI" is laying on top of the engine bay. aren't CAI suppose t go under the engine bay? sorry i am new to honda's and stuff and i am hoping to be more knowledgeable of stuff. so if you guys can please help me. thanks

CAI connects from the throttle body to where the stock air box is and behind bumper. You can't put the Ex model cai on the dx there intake manifold is of different design. So just wait it out until you do the mini me swap. There's not much increase with aem. If I were you I woulda used that money to buy a skunk manifold and buy a cai or short ram intake later

^ I disagree the stock y8/z6 manifold is good for up to 300HP IIRC...but u wont see much increase in hp with an aftermarket system anywho
