Help with broken Power window: forced roll up
My power window on the passenger side stopped working and is in the down position. This is bad for the winter season. I took off the door panel but have no idea how to force the window up. Any help?

without ripping the motor apart which wouldn't help you much anyway, your going to have to unbolt the regulator from the window, if you can align the window with the two corresponding holes in the door frame that gain you access to the two bolts that hold white plastic brackets that attach to the window glass. Remove those two bolts and then raise the glass. You're going to have to put something like a piece of wood or tape the glass over the door frame temporarily until you get a new window regulator. More likely then not your regulator motor gear guide has broken and the cable and gears have come apart inside.

Do you know if there is anyway to just replace those plastic clips or maybe the assembly without the motor?
My passenger side clip snapped but the assembly and motor are all fine. Just not connected to the window.
