take the rest of the bolts of and remove the valve cover, use vise grips to take the bolt of and replace it, but you need a new one, dont know how quick you can get one

This also happened when working on my brother's '93 del sol. I had overtightened the bolt when replacing the valve cover gasket, luckily it was the one towards the middle, so no oil leaks... Fortunately we happen to be good friends with a mechanic, its just a matter of retapping the valve cover. It could very well be possilble to do it your self with a tapping kit, however getting the old pieces of the bolt out is the tricky part. In our case there was enough sticking out to grab onto with the vice grips. You may have to drill out (not that i recommend doing this) the old piece of the bolt with a very small machined drill bit. Then if this goes well you would retap the valve cover. Hope everything goes well.

Re: Help broke valve cover bolt (bsiple)
its not hard, i had to do it too. look at the top of whats left in the head for starters, if the bolt broke and left a little nub that you could use to turn it with a pick try that, thats how i did it, but be patient its not gonna be that easy. if that isnt an option you could go to the store and get an easy out, there a few bucks, if you use it right you wont mess up the helicoils in the head than you can just go to honda, get a new bolt, and rock and roll. i drove mine around for a week without the bolt on the top closest to the oil cap and i never leaked any oil so i think youll be ok without it untill you can get it fixed.
