HELP B18B swaped 95 civic shut down
i was driving along and i shifted in second then the car hesitated and bogged and then it shut down and now the relay that says RELAY ***'Y MAIN is clicking like a bastard with the key on i try one of another EG and it still didnt fire up but it cranks and when the relay clicks the CEL is on but very very dim.........im really confused to what the problem is......any of you guys had the same problem or know what could be the problem? thanks

I would check my grounds. Valve cover to body, transmission to body and battery to body. Then I would check for lose connections at the alternator and battery terminals. After that, I would check my fuses.

bump........PLZ anything i really need it to run its my daily driver.......could it be my coil if so how do i test it?

Check the ground on the thermostat housing on the back of the engine. It will cause exactly the symptoms you're having. Also check to see if the ACG fuse under the dash is blown.

battery is good.......but i forgot about that ground and ill check that fuse........any other ideas welcome thx

Have you tried another ECU? just about an OBD1 ECU will work for testing purposes. I don't know about fredericton, but i've never had trouble finding P06s for next to nothing in moncton.

yeah i did try another ecu still no luck.......ill try to figure it out tomorow but im really puzzled right now......because it ran good until i shifted in second then it died
