I bought a walbro 255lph and the thing i notice is the stock filter compared to the walbro (attached on the pump) is angled different and has a different orientation, like 90 degrees difference. Looking in the tank i can see how the old filter would lay directly in a "bowl" were fuel would be kept from sloshing around.

It looks to me like the walbro filter wont go exactly where i stock one went. Is this going to have isses picking up fuel???

Any other del sol owners have pump issues?


Havent put it in yet, the stuff is ready to install out of my car and kinda need it back in asap.

You might have the wrong pump. My Walbro looked exactly like the stock setup!

the stock filter could fit right on the walbro and have the correct orientation but i didnt want to use the old filter. I guess ill just order a new stock fuel pump filter and be done.
