HELP! anybody put JDM seats in their EK 4dr?
so i finally got my jdm ferio vi-rs seating for my '98 4dr, and im having problems puttin it in. the front ones fit in fine, just swapped the rails and its cool. the rear though is a whole nother story. the seats look like the same size, but the back of the rear seats are ONE piece, unlike the usdm which splits into two and they fold down. the jdm ones don't fold down and the brackets that hold the seats in place are in different positions. the seating for the rear seats are almost identical to the US ones, but the brackets again are placed differntly. well my question is do i need to drill? or can i just bend the brackets into a different position? if i do end up having to drill new holes can i drill anywhere around the fuel cap w/ sensor? any help would be great! thanx in advance

Yeah man post pics. I was thinking about buying those seats. Haven't actually seen what they look like.

well, after like 12 hours of tryin to put the damn things on, and messing up my interior, they still ARE NOT on.... 
here are pics of how the seats look like, VERY DIRTY, and the brackets in the back are all wacked, you could barely see them in comparison w/ the stock seats.
for sale now...

The eg9 sir rear seats look better and are more supportive.
my friend has them in his ek... bit of bashing and cutting, and they fit nicely..

so he has ek sir seats up front and eg9 in the rear? looks good though, but the pattern doesn't match 
was the back piece of the seat one piece on the eg9 seats? do you have a exterior shot of the car?
got rid of them now...

Well it's actually got black recaros in the front now, but that was a while back.
some more pics?
Btw, that ek 4dr uses '99 jdm itr motor + box, but that may change, as the owner has just bought in a damaged ek9.
eg9 fronts are easy enough to come buy, and are considerably more supportive/bucketty than standard ek seats, but not as good as the recaros in that aspect.

I would have thought local jdm parts places would sell them...
They're quite popular here... I run them in my jdm eg6, as they are far more supportive than the eg6 seats, and look nicer than the del sol seats, that stripe think just turns me off. They bolt straight in to any eg, or can have ek rails bolted on easily enough
You gotta admit, a 2 seater in the back like the eg9 is pretty dope.
