Help to All the Techs PLEAZ!
ok I was in fourth gear trying to slow down so i used the brake a little and then down shifted, but i down shifted into the wrong gear. after i did that my car woudln't work wright. every time i gave it gas, it tried to die, and when the car is running the timing belt is going hella slow. I was wondering if it is bent valves or if i skipped some teeth in the timing. Pleaz help!

mis-shifts aren't your friend. Seeing as how your car still somewhat runs, it's obviously not nearly as bad as my screw up. (Click link in my sig if you don't know what i'm talking about)

actually if he bent valves on each cylinder that will give the same results as a skipped tooth on a timing belt.
check the Tbelt for TDC before you do anything.

where did he mention the word "accidentally?" probably an error in judgement.

Re: (makaveli284)
make sure the timing belt didnt slip first, then have a compression check done to it.You dont want to remove your head unless you really need to.
