Lately I have been experiencing hesitation and surging when I maintain constant throttle position. This only happens when there is a loud 'hissing' noise coming from behind the glove compartment with the compressor running. No such symptoms when the compressor/ ac is turned off. The ac has also not been efficient lately. Occassional warm air from the ac vents. Could it be due to low refrigerant level or a faulty expansion valve? Would a faulty compressor cause this?
