Default help with air bag removal

i know how to do it but can you guys give me any tips for safety ?? where are all the screws located exaclty and where is the damn module lol i bought an air bag tray and a nrg steering wheel

what car ? unplug battery smoke a cig then start working.. the module in my eg is uhh.. on the right of the gas pedal might be under some carpet and had a yelow connector to it

wtf i got the driver side out i unbolted the passnger side but wtf how do you take the top cover off? and how do i remove the module???? it is a 99 hATCH

You have to unbolt it from underneath. It's been a while since I've done this, so I'm unable to give you a detailed description off the top of my head.

Remove your glove box and you will have access to the passenger airbag. The yellow plug that activates the airbag is under there, it can be disconnected and connected into another "disable plug". Like I said, I can't remember. You're better off looking at a service manual.

Make sure you disconnect the battery.

inside the the steering wheel column. take the plastic off. dont get srsed in the face.

i removed the driver and passenger side airbags where is the main module???? where is the thing that they connect to?
