if you are doing the 99-00 front-end conversion on your car and you have new 99-00 front bumper hood and fenders then it doesn't matter if the holes line up to wear the 96-98 front bumper holes were at.....if you have all those things then basically its a 99 front-end. Check your radiator support....it might be gettin in the way. When i did that same conversion on my coupe i had to get a 99-00 radiator support as well....you might want to check that out

ive bought 2 cheap rad supports from aftermarket companies for 50 bucks eack. to swap it out youd have to drill out like 30 spot welds and weld the new one in but theres a write up somewhere on how to modify your 96-98 one to work

dont worry about those tabs at the very end, just make sure you align the grill and your good. I did a little bit of cutting so the whole bumper would fit. You should already know where to cut cuz a piece of metal that sticks out is preventing the whole bumper to fit.

u dont need to get a new radiator support. if you're talking about the tops tabs by under the grill then u just cut two slits for it to fit..simple as that son

TRUE THAT

Get your hands on a 99-00 civic grille, fenders, headlights, hood, and front bumper. Try to put them on, and you will SEE where you need to cut your notches. My cousin and I recently traded a guy for his 99-00 front end, because he wanted our 96-98 front end to sell his car.

for it to line up perfectly you need a 99-00 radiator support. most part stores will say all 96-00 is the same. but a honda dealer will have different part numbers for the 96-98 and 99-00 rad support.

u can use ur existing support. just cut it as shown. For a proper fit a 99-00 rad support is required, but who cares. Just use ur support and be done with it.
