So they got me with a star certified smog test, I didn't pass and got high NO levels (previously posted a thread to fix it and was in the process, just low in funds). One day my car struggled to turn on but managed to get my bro to work and back. The civic got worse as days gone by. The engine had no oil when I checked it, so it probably ran dry on oil for a while. The Distributor was fine, though improperly aligned. Rotors inside the distributor weren't burnt. And my spark plugs all worked. The fuel pump and cat were replaced last year. The starter is making a clicking sound after the car started struggling to start, now the car doesn't turn on. Basically all I'm trying to find out is - is it easier to diagnose the problem in my engine or am I better off buying a new dseries longblock?
