Help with 95 civic dash removal
Hello, I am trying to remove my front dash to replace my heater core. I have everything loose holding the dash in but I am having a problem pulling the dash out on the passengers side. Right where the srs bag plug is there are two studs on either side of the plug which look like they hold the air bag to the interior. When I try to pull the dash on that side the brackets on the bag just hit the mounting point on the underdash. Basically, the studs mount through the bracket the same way I am trying to pull it. Is there a trick to this? Am I missing something? Does the bag need to come out the top? I have already cracked my dash which I think I can fix and I don't want to do anymore damage. So some insight would be great. Thanks Adam.

Re: Help with 95 civic dash removal
I believe so. The one bolt is a 10 mm at the bottom right side of box with a screw underneath. I take the other bolt your talking about is the one on the outside of the dash behind a plastic cover that you have to pop off. I got that one. I believe the problem is the studs on the air bag that you have to unhook. They are up right next to the plug for the bag. Does the air bag have to comeout from the top or should I be able to pull it out with the dash.
