Ok. Stick a fork in me I'm done. Got this civic that had been sitting up for a while about six months ago. Wouldn't start. My brother diagnosed it and changed the ignition switch. It fixed the problem for several months. On about three separate occasions the car took a while to start. (maybe 6 tries before it would start) And now it won't start at all. I'm getting fire to all the cylinders but am not getting any fuel. I used a jumper wire on the main relay to see if I could get the fuel pump to come on. It would come on with the jumper wire but not with the relay plugged in. The car still wouldn't start with the jumper wire. So I went to the junk yard and got three relays. None of them would work to make the fuel pump kick on. I can't figure out what the hell it going on. Please help me. I'm getting very frustrated with this car.

Is hood fuse 31 or dash fuse 24 blown?

When the key is turn to ON(II), does the CEL remain on or turn off after 2 seconds? Any CEL codes?

I checked all fuses and the check engine light doesn't stay on. It comes on when I first turn the key then shuts off after a couple of seconds.

What exactly did you jumper wire to get the fuel pump to run?

Does terminal 1 (Yel/Wht wire) in the main relay plug have battery voltage?

I did not check that. I will check it in the morning. It also has an irregular crank since the last time I drove it. I cranks fast for a second then slow for maybe three seconds. Its a very consistent pattern. Not sure what is up with that. It drove great the last time it ran a couple of weeks ago.

listen to ron and check if the main relay is getting power and ground
and switched power

usually if you dont a fuse is blown

Cool. Thanks for the help guys. I'm a single mom and can't really afford to take the car to a mechanic. Any suggestions are helpful. I will be up bright and early to check those things out and will report back. Hopefully its something simple.

Ok. Now I'm going to sound like a complete idiot. There is nothing marked fuse 24 under the dash. And nothing is labeled under the hood.

I'm getting voltage at terminal one on the main relay.
